Cronyism.

Iger is objectively bad at his job from a capitalistic standpoint. Were he being judged by the market, he'd have been fired already. That he still has his job, and is still being paid like he is, is evidence of Cronyism at play - not capitalism.

If this was about capitalism, Disney would be making a lot more money and there wouldn't be talks of a shareholder coup.

Bob took over as CEO in 2005. The stock price had a low of $25 in 2005. The stock price was about $150 when he “retired” end of 2021. He did a fantastic job in that time, and he’s being paid huge money because of that record

Cronyism is not capitalism. Capitalism would mean Iger gets a negative salary.
