Change my own oil so I don’t have to deal with that crap.

My truck has a lifetime power train warranty if I get the maintenence done at a dealership. I frickkin hate it.

A reputable dealer would accept receipts and onboard computer information about oil change reminder re-setting. It is entirely possible a person could cheat that but who would go to the trouble on the off chance that they will need a new motor at any point in a new vehicles service life? They demand they do the service so they can upsell you and deny claims because you declined a $150 air filter change.

You will really be pissed when they deny your warranty claim on some technicality after you spent all that time and money having the dealer service.

Those mother frickers lie more than attorneys.
