This! Came here to post this exactly. If you have to hunt in rubber boots your feet are sweating. My feet sweat in flip flops. This keeps me comfortable.
ETA: if youre standing on metal put some wood, fabric, something down to keep your boots off the metal. Doesn't make sense why it works so well but it does.

I don’t know why or how, but my feet sweat more when it’s cold, no matter what I’m wearing. Hell, even if I’m bare foot in the house, my feet sweat more when it’s cold.
