John Folse's Rootbeer Bar b que sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 cup root beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons lea and perrins
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
lemon zest
reduce by 1/2 and add salt and pepper as needed, I am going on memory so my measurements might be a little off but this will get you pretty close

This is mine, measurements are aprox.
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire
2 c. catsup
dash of liquid smoke
a bit of fresh minced sweet onions
Simmer until onions are soft
Some times I add a little yellow mustard & cajun seasoning depending on my mood.
