Well, that’s silly. I think everybody expected Saban and even Kelly to do well when hired because of success at previous stops. Why would you exclude a coach’s entire career when evaluating him against his peers.

I feel like Kelly was treading water until now. He finally saw he had to have a staff full of Louisiana and southern guys to win. He's doing that now and now I believe he's a threat to win some shite.

Because wins at current school are all that really matters when ranking a coach for where he is now.

Winning a division II championship isn't helping anyone win games in the SEC.
