As bad as our defense was this year

I'm still thankful they played well against Bama. A blowout loss to Bama would not have been good for this program.
Not many positives this season but this was one to me, even in loss.

That is pretty sad when you hang your hat on LOSING a football game. SOME of you posters amaze me with your obsession with all things Alabama.

Eh..I don't know. They played their hearts out for that game, and it showed. It might have been better if they hadn't and we just lost. I said around the UGA game that the wheels could fall off if they looked at Bama as the last real chance to pull the season out of mediocrity, and still fell short. And sure enough....
I think the completely apathetic performances for pretty much every game after that was the result of the Alabama game, not unlike Bama last year.

I think the BAMA game was LSU's best game of the year. I know y'all lost but that was a hell of a football game. Take away the pick six and y'all win in regulation.

No shite. I'm all for positives, but when we start dwelling on lost fb games, it makes me feel like a Ole Miss fan.
Remember LSU fans, "OM is 19 points away from being undefeated."
