I don’t think the OP was worried about the wait, it was the lack of good communication that pissed him off. A simple ‘hey sorry it’s taken so long but I’ll get to your shite in the next month or so’ would have gone a long way

The bigger question here is being ignored. Why did the OP ask who was being the a-hole? If his story is accurate, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, why ask? Does the OP really not know who the a-hole really is in this situation? How is that possible. [tongue in cheek]
