THIS. I quickly learned who was and wasn't willing to question "authority" and it changed my close friends circle. If you aren't able to say "I don't think this is right..." then I don't need to be around you.

A close friend of mine is a M.D. and a Senior Medical Officer at DHS. I called him a week into the whole lockdown. He said: "It is insane what is happening up here (DC). Get ready." He knew early on that the Lockdown, the Social Distancing and the Masks were overreach and said so. He got soundly thumped by his colleagues and it impacted his career.
