First winter with a pool

Is there anything specific y'all do for when the temps get below freezing for the pool?

Just run your pump until it’s no longer freezing. As long as the water is moving, it won’t freeze.

My 3 year old Pentair system kicks on automatically when the temp falls below a certain level. I believe it is the air measurement not the water temp that triggers the pump to run.
I've never wrapped anything on the equipment, just let the pump do the freeze protection cycle.
I imagine beyond a certain temp, or extended cold spell, you probably cut everything off and purge the lines of water.

Like others have said just keep it running. Last two winters here in central Arkansas we've had temps into the single digits. I turn up the pump to move water a little faster but that's it, no problems
Make sure you know what to do if you lose power while temps are below freezing.
