I just don't get all the shoveling by folks. Granted I am out in the boonies here in Vermont where I got about 14 inches Sunday and closing in on another foot tonight. I will shovel about an 8x8 area around my front door when it is this deep, but that is all the shovelingi will do. I have 4 steps down off my deck, 30 ft to my Durango and a 250 ft long driveway. Good boots, tires, 4WD and a vehicle with a little height off ground and I walk or drive over everything. I call my neighbor with a skidsteer for a plow maybe twice a year when it gets close to 2 ft deep, but that's it. I understand the safety issue if you have small kids or elderly, but the right tools to do job, make less of a job to do.
