It is an expose on the unholy union between science and politics and is the birth of the Deep State.
Detach yourself from the accusation that he was a communist for a minute, and remember- there were never any findings he was a spy; and he was not a member of the communist party. Also, just trade in your brain communist with “insurrectionist.”
leftists have no intellectual honesty so they can’t see the parallels.
You will think about it for weeks. I just watched it again last week and was so glad I did bc it made it easier to keep the players all straight.

This would be a pretty good post as he was railroaded later in life by people bitter by his success but there is no “accusation” he was a communist. He was a communist. He believed in communists ideologies. It is true he was never a member of a communist party but Oppenheimer was man largely driven by his ego and ambition and saw the US Manhattan Project as his best pathway to realizing that. If it would’ve been the Soviet’s he would’ve joined them
