re: Mayorkas threatens House: if you impeach me, “you’re not going to like what comes next”

So what does Mayorkas get out of it for the misery and probably security threat forever and hopefully noticing something going on as far as the little problem he’s presided over, surely he’s picked up on clues and hints as to the depth of the crisis being attributed to him in very substantial part (hints like all the press questions about the “crisis” and federal agencies themselves releasing record breaking numbers month after month, and directing free flights for a nice little number of illegals, and NYC Democrat mayor dressing him and Biden down, oh and being told he will be impeached, not exactly a typical thing for a cabinet member, etc etc)…….what’s his take for willingly failing that damn much? What’s the trade off for becoming an historic pariah?

Look, I’m not suggesting the man’s equivalent to a mentally retarded homeless person, but looks pretty clear to me he’s in way, way over his head. He’s overwhelmed. And hell I can see and understand why. Problem is, he did it to himself.
