I haven’t watched us a ton yet this year, but what I have seen definitely makes me question - why doesn’t Dean play more than Baker?
Baker can be a load in the paint if, #1 he is taller than the man guarding him and #2 he goes up with the ball and doesn't hold it too long.

His problem has been he doesn't look for the double team and loses the ball a lot, misses a lot of easy shots because he panics and is a terrible passer. Dean gives you great hustle, rebounding and defense(if he can keep from fouling, this goes for both of them). Dean doesn't have a lot of offensive moves but he doesn't need them. As long as he hits the offensive boards and the guards throw him some good lobs for dunks, he will get you 8 to 12 points. But any points he scores are really bonus.

McMahon decided early on to run the offense through Baker and still tries to do it from time to time. This results in a lot of turnovers and the other players becoming stagnant. It could work but needs much better execution.

I see what you guys are saying on Baker. But in the action I’ve seen, which admittedly has not been a lot, Baker just doesn’t look like he can be a reliable contributor at this level, much less a starter. Running the offense through him as a scorer certainly seems like a bad idea.
