I already overpaid LSU for a degree.
It’s obvious LSU has money based on the public deals they are making with coaches.
To boot, it seems like the NIL stuff is frequently exaggerated — players know the NFL is the endgame, it’s a minority of them that just chase the biggest bag & don’t care about other factors or to be recruited.
2025 could be the #1 recruiting class in the nation & potentially LSU’s biggest of all time.
I would be singing a different tune if the institution were underwater, but KRS makes some good points.
By all means don’t let me talk you out of wasting your money… it’s your money. But if you’re a regular pleb paying for live TV and going to games then that counts as doing your part IMO.
Mass donations are a drop in the bucket vs earned revenue & super boosters. I guarantee you it’s the same way across the entire country.
Just like in the real world, it’s a few big fish / big deals pulling the strings.
