They often don't fear the consequences because Society refuses to shame them and will provide a safety net for their kids, no matter how many they pop out.

Only if the MY BODY MY CHOICE Woman decides to have sex.
It is ultimately her decision.
If SHE has the ultimate say in whether or not the child is carried to term, she has the ultimate responsibility in ensuring she doesn't get pregnant.
Yep, some men are scum, but women are EQUALLY scum.

Multiple women choosing the same worthless guy and it's all the guy's fault, eh?
Both parties can be to blame, but the woman has the greater responsibility as she's the one who can get pregnant. You can argue "fairness" but biology will never care about that.

One difference you aren’t addressing is the biological imperative. Men are programmed biologically to spread their seed. It is only moral instruction and the threat of legal and financial consequences that keeps this under control ( actually it’s not under control). Which is why good families and religious organizations explain all this to their children.
Women have a biological imperative to choose a mate WISELY because if they choose incorrectly they assign themselves to misery, poverty or worse. They have a burden men don’t carry.
Obviously men and women are equally failing and don’t seem to care that it is their children who pay the price. All a result of both sexes lack of moral and ethical wisdom.
