In 2016 while i was in college i worked a retail job for 7.75. Less and less people are willing to do that.

Im not sure what will become of these people. Perpetual gig workers, probably.
The jobs are out there, some good paying...but require work.

I did too. One difference today is that if you’re willing to put in the time, it’s much easier and more convenient to make money making stupid YouTube videos or driving Uber than flipping burgers for minimum wage.
