Dude you have no clue what you’re talking about. This isn’t close to capitalism and even capitalism has a boss, it’s called the consumer, which we fans happen to be.
You keep this up and your money tree will eventually be a bunch of bare branches. It takes an adult to run a capitalist business with sustainable success. Would you allow an 18 year old to run your business into the ground? There has to be boundaries are it will dramatically fail with time. Is that good for the kids?
There needs to be some sustainability, even capitalism has ground rules, regulations and standards. You take away the signing bonuses or if allowed, you cap that. What you can’t cap is what they do with that money and how they capitalize on their career. That’s capitalism moron.
You know, making plays on the field in front of a national audience and generating a national fanbase for yourself. Then capitalizing on that following. Not a bunch of desperate millionaire/ billionaire alumn throwing money at kids for a year then next season they switch jerseys for another desperate alumn. That is NOT capitalism, that’s not sustainable, that’s exactly how you create a broken system. Some of you people have no brains and can’t see very far.
