I disagree. I think the tape on perkins is out and teams realized that if he isnt in pursuit he isnt that great. He is too light to stand his ground against olinemen and doesn't shed blocks once they get engaged so teams ran right at him a lot. He was also nullified by tackles plying his outside shoulder knowing he couldn't muscle through them on the inside. He really needs to add 15 to 20 lbs of muscle.

I don’t mean play him as the Jack or DE every down brother but on 3rd and long or obvious passing downs he should’ve been rushing the passer. He was still our best pass rusher by far and provides an upfield rush we didn’t have all season.
