He finished pretty well, but a couple things I think he needs to work on for next year is:

1. Have a better idea where the down markers are on 3rd down.
2. Be willing to be a runner 2-3 times a game.

This was the only thing I saw myself wanting him to do differently over the course of the game.

A few throwaways/forced throws when he had a good bit of green in front of him at pretty key points.


Obviously we’re a little spoiled having JD for two years but those were a lot of lost yards that could have been the difference in the game.


Definitely a really good showing by him though and I loved that the team responded to him and stayed the course in a bowl game that could have gotten away from us early.


Loved seeing Jayden on the sidelines and celebrating with him and the team, hopefully helps lead to a seamless transition next year.
