This is probably the context. If House is staying and Steeples got thrown under bus, that might explain his reaction to House. I sure hope not —
fire them all and start with House.

I do appreciate him playing in the bowl game, but that wasn't totally unselfish. If he gave it a go and wasn't fully healed, or worst case reinjured himself, he could come back a year, but if he felt he was 100% and would test well, he could declare.
