I think Heard is probably gone, regardless. When it was stated he didn't travel with the team, I think it was sealed then.

Sucks, but OL is probably the one position group we can lose a player like Heard and still be ok.

I hope I'm wrong about him transferring, though.

I agree. CBK’s quote doesn’t make sense that Heard is trying to make up his mind and they will have a discussion after the bowl game. If he hasn’t made up his mind yet then why not travel and play in the bowl game?

And I have an issue with Heard if he is leaving only because he isn’t starting at left tackle.

yup - this isn't the Les/O years where we prayed to stay healthy, we have dudes on the OL now and even more of them coming in this fall.

Screw that he sold out on his team for self interests I hope Heard is gone regardless. I wouldn’t do him any favors helping him find a school either ship his arse and say good luck

Def NIL related. I do think we match whatever he gets. If it’s playing time that could be bigger problem

I was okay losing him when I first heard the news. We have the coaches and players to overcome it. I'm not one of those "No NIL for you" guys, but after getting paid by your home state school and only playing backup as a freshman, you are trying to get even more money? You didn't start and light it up like Perkins or Daniels. The people in his ear are giving him bad advice. Of course he could easily go somewhere and become a first rounder. Hopefully it isn't with Bama or UGA. Hate both of those assholes.
