This is what's going on with Lance Heard IMO. Other schools have notice the embarrassment of riches LSU has in their offensive line. Another school(probably SEC school because they have watched a ton of tape because of film review when preparing to play LSU) has offered him a lot of money and guaranteed starting spot because tackle is going to be a position of need for said school next year. Its a good sales pitch because obviously there at two all american tackles in front of him for a least next year.
This is a problem for all parties involved because LSU going to have to decide to pay him. But if they do, it doesnt stop there. Whatever the number is, LSU is going to have to pay the other two starting tackles on the team that or more. This is all of sudden becoming very expensive. Lance Heard is basically deciding how much he loves LSU and believes in the process of just waiting your turn and being a high draft pick one day.
Hopefully everyone can come to agreement and Lance stays.
