The administrative negligence at UF is criminal, and if the university president had any balls at all he would direct an investigation to look into all of this.

Much of that happened when Fuchs was president and he was one of the Foleyite supporters.

Sasse needs to step it up but he has to be Trump like and be willing to fight the Establishment: Jeremy Foley, Chip Howard, Lynda Tealer and all there cohorts in the uaa

You complain about Stricklin and I agree he is not very good but you have to understand as long as Foley has his position in the UAA. It doesn’t matter who the ad is.

Forrest asked to successfully get to the bottom of it. He needs to clean out the entire UAA and fire all of them!

Getting rid of just Napier or just stricklin it’s just putting a Band-Aid on the problem

The uaa is a rotten and corrupt group of loathsome individuals who will keep making the same type of bad coaching, and A.D. hires as long as the same people are calling the shots at the top

Sasse will have to shoot the head and cut the head off the snake if an investigation and actionable measure ls are to be taken

I don't understand the stuff about Foley. He was superb while he was the AD and people that worked under him went to get the same job elsewhere, like becoming the AD at Georgia. UF athletics never gets to prominence without a succession of some good AD's and good university presidents, and Foley was very critical in all of that. He was around for UF being on probation, was one of the top guys when Arnsparger was brought in to clean up probation era UF, was part of the process that led to Spurrier getting hired, etc. My beef with Foley was that he didn't go HAM when it was clear that FSU players were trying to injure UF players, and that left Spurrier flapping in the breeze. Arnsparger was a tough ole dude, a WWII Marine Corps veteran. Foley could have used a little more piss & vinegar like Arnsparger, but aside from that, he did a great job at UF.

People say Foley was tight with money - but UF was doing fine on the field, and other schools that got into the arms race with facilities went in debt. Some, like Cal, went hundreds of millions in debt. That never happened at UF. UF has always remained in good fiscal shape, until just recently with some horrible decisions.

A bad thing at UF is the lack of space, which makes facility changes very costly. I think UF needs to move the bug people north toward Lake City and move IFAS south toward Ocala, and free up that whole part of campus for more robust facilities for sports, but that is very costly, of course. Foley was never willing to throw UF into a deep hole of debt and I think that was a smart decision. I remember him saying that there would come a day when UF would need to be one of the few schools in good financial position, and he was right.

I don't see Foley as a problem for current-day UF. Even if he was an influence on things, and a negative one, it's the job of Stricklin and Sasse to either wade through that or remove Foley.

It just doesn't seem reasonable to pin anything on Foley. There's an AD and a Univ President out there that are not named Foley and they have responsibilities here.
