I was a member at a club when the kids were pre-school age and was still able to play a fair amount. Once they started playing soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball, and volleyball that all changed. Dropped the membership since soccer, club volleyball, and baseball were year round. Once they got into high school I was able to play some.
Long story short, you may have to pause for a while but it gets better. Enjoy those kids while you can, it goes fast.

64 with one to go on Saturday.
I am in the pre pause stage with my kids right now. Got one that is 2 and another on the way due in March so I won't get to play as much in 2024 as I did this year. Once the wife gets back on her feet and I can bring the older one with me to the course I will get to play more. But I am looking forward to that pause when they start playing sports/doing other activities because of the memories I have with my dad. Knowing I'll get to make those memories with my sons makes me very excited! And while I am waiting on that time to get here I get to play almost every round with my dad now. So knowing that I am hopeful when my sons get to be around my age that we do the same!
I work as a firefighter so this aids greatly in the amount of golf I get to play, especially during the week. While I do have a second job, I am able to find the time to make it to the course just about once every week. Golf is very therapeutic for me because of the stresses of the job I work. It allows me to kind of reset mentally.
