My daschund ate an entire Halloween size bag of Reeces out of my son’s backpack and nothing happened. Weenie dogs are indestructible assholes though. He also fished a box of Popeye’s chicken bones. I stared at his shite for a week looking for blood with negative results. He made it 17 years and died peacefully. He was a loveable dick and did what he wanted to.
The whole chicken bone thing is so over blown it is ridiculous. We had a german shepherd when I was a kid that ate entire chickens regularly...bones, beaks and all....and that fricker never had an issue. My lab has eaten dozens of breasted out ducks, geese and pheasants and other than me kicking in her arse for making a mess she ain't ever had any ill side effects. A stray dog will eat anything they can find and can live many years if they are lucky. The damned things will drink out of back up toilet and go about their lives as if it is the most normal thing in the world....a chicken bone ain't hurting but one in a million.
