Apparently the OP is still passed out but getting a used engine shouldn't be terribly expensive while having a local shop stuff it in. Unless he has something unusual it certainly won't be $10k.

well i would think that is not just the price of the engine, i think that is the price to pick it up after the engine has been replaced.

i just had my LS 6.0 rebuilt last year and it cost me $6k. it was $4500 from a well known engine builder just for the rebuild so $1500 was labor to pull it and then reinstall it.

OP isnt making any sense with his reasoning, and he hasnt come back to this thread even once, so i think its a fake BS post.
