Danielson, Tebow and the SEC

How do you guys feel about Danielson? I know he trumps up the SEC which is good for the conference but I find him pretty much unlistenable. He was beyond obscene about Tebow against Bama. Wouldn't be suprised if he was stalking him in Atlanta Saturday night hoping Tebow would drop the T-bag on him.

Danielson is one of the best IMO. He's does fall in love easy though.

Personally, I think he is tolerable. Mussburger (?) makes me want to rip my ears off my head.

Danielson's cum guzzling of Saban was much worse Saturday, IMHO. Verne, on the other hand...

Lundquist loves Eric Berry.

I didn't mind him for while but in the last 5 years or so he's become quite annoying

The CBS team leaves a great deal to be desired.

Musberger can start a USC conversation in the middle of anything. He was saying that they got cheated out of the BCS championship last night.

I cant stand Danielson FWIW. Hes very pompus about himself, and also about blew his load over tebow. I really couldnt stand how at one point when CBS went to commecials before Florida went on offense it said "Tim Tebow coming up next..." I know hes a great player but there are ten other gators on the field as well

The only 2 people Danielson talked about were Tebow and Saban.

His man-crushes on Tebow, Stafford, "Mt Cody
", get soooooooooooo old.

I chalk that one up to a former QB fawning over the college stud QB. Doesn't make it easier to listen to, but it rationalizes it ... ok, I tried.

You're right. Always brings up USC. Musburger = cumdumpster

I don't mind Verne.
Danielson is awful, way too over-the-top, a bandwagoner, and has a horrible high-pitched voice.
And I love Danielson compared to Musberger.
Where are the Keith Jackson's? The Howard Cossell's?

verne lunquist is without a doubt the worst announce on any channel covering college football and that is saying alot. Todd blackledge and mike patrick are the best tandem imho. When herby and muffburger came down to do the vatech game last year they were ok. I don't normally like herbie or muffburger though.

WOW you people ever heard of a mute button...they are just doing their job hype the game/player for that non-football fan that might be watchen.
Posted on 12/8/08 at 10:51 pm to UnoMe
I can't stand any of them. Every game any of them announce is full of hype and the "greatest" at this that and the other. I try to turn down the TV and listen to the radio every chance I get.

REALLY?! Verne is the absolute worst, hands down, no question...he never knows what the hell he's talking about and he always says retarded shite. Never fail, every game, retarded shite...it actually makes watching games that I don't give a shite about kind of entertaining b/c I just want to hear how gay and retarded he's gonna be.
As for Danielson, he strikes me as a douche...he called some Tigers games last year that made me wanna kick him in the nuts. That being said, he really does offer good commentary regarding the play on the field and he breaks plays down really well for the viewer.
Lundquist is just horrible...

I guess it's a personal opinion issue. I've listened to Verne call golf and tennis for years. He actually does very good at those. I know he can be corny and all over the place, but he strikes me as a loveable old man. (He did perturb me, however, with his fawning coverage of Tebow's "jump passes" for the last two years. That's the stupidest looking play I think I have ever seen, and it sent Verne swooning.) Danielson, on the other hand, thinks he knows everything there is to know about college football. I'll even give him credit for having a lot of knowledge, but nobody knows it all.
And, as I said, Musberger just grates me. From the Danny Elmonte (little league world series) mess to his lifelong love affair with all things USC, I can't listen to him. Here's my vote to make Harold Reynolds the permanent little league world series announcer.
Just my opinion, FWIW
