Notre Dame is not an easier path to the playoffs. If that was the case, Notre Dame would be in the playoffs every year even after losing Kelly.
Kelly built it back up to as it as it's been since Holtz was there and left for a better opportunity.

Why do I have to be an ND fan because I don't want to be a part of the "Denbock suck good riddance" "ND sucks they haven't blah blah" crowd. You all sound like guys who like to watch their wives bang other dudes.

I think we sound like hicks to act like no place has athletes like LSU. Would you agree Oregon has some athletes? What about Washington? Everyone has athletes and programs like ND recruit just as well as most SEC teams not named UGA or BAMA....But ya, I'll keep agreeing with everything on this board so people won't question my loyalty.

This...the last time ND won a NC was when they could still field 105 scholarship players...Holtz final two years at ND with a lifetime contract was when they were at the new 85 limit and he failed to have double digit winning seasons and he walked away from that lifetime contract cause he knew he could not sustain the same level of success he had with 105 and the 95 limits...
Kelly was the first coach since Holtz to have sustained success over a long period of time, but Notre Dame fans will never admit the problem with ND IS Notre Dame and their academic requirements they refuse to ease up on for atheletes thus creating a situation where their coach CAN NOT miss on any athlete if they are going to have a chance at a NC...
They may catch lightning in the bottle for one season, but you will never see ND with long term success like they had in the past when they were a threat for the NC every year...

Diggs was a serviceable RB, but he never took over a game at LSU or Notre Dame. He was the best RB out of a limited or youthful running back room.

The context of my topic is not about ND fans, it has to do with LSU acting like a bunch of Karens when our team is hit with adversity. What Kelly has done at LSU is nothing short of remarkable and I have way more confidence in him that your boy at ND. Denbrock is not the reason Jayden won the Heisman. Jayden worked his arse off and had the athletes around him to execute the plays, Dembrock got bailed out a ton this year by Jayden. Some of Dembrocks play calling this year was pitiful starting with the FSU game.

How we all feeling, I know pretty salty (sloan is great, MD sucks, JD made him blah blah blah) but I remember how I felt when Saban bolted and became the best head coach of all time. We will be fine!! We have COACH BK!!
