If someone taking their earned PTO creates an issue within the system, then it is on supervisors/owners to re-evaluate PTO policies.

I see a lot of complaining about unlimited PTO and folks abusing it, yet the company implemented it just so they wouldn't have to pay it out when that person leaves/retires.You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you roll with unlimited PTO to avoid paying it out or you have capped PTO.
