The correct way to think about NIl is follow the money. The universities have literally made billions for a century plus and the kids got pennies in return. Even Forbes companies compensate their employees better than college athletes have been compensated. Have to right that.
Second, as we've all figured out(used to be just some of us) the huge majority of universities are liberal army training grounds. The less money they have the better the country is. When do we all figure out that NIL is essentially the liberal left exchanging money amongst themselves and about boasting about their prized "livestock" they just purchased. It's a rose colored version of buying the best slaves.

It’s widening the gap in the haves and have nots. And the transfer portal is just jet fuel for it. It’s not sustainable, some guard rails will eventually get put in place.

Free housing
Free gym and training by pros
Free meals and supplements
Free Healthcare
On TV every weekend to build their resume fir the nfl

That's not chump change. That's about $50k+ easily a year. For a person coming to lsu from out of state, the compensation of all those is probably about 75k or more. But yea they receive squat
