I saw this video on Twitter earlier and I so could relate.

I am not a feminist. In fact- I hate them. When she talked about the dude buying her drinks when he went to the restroom, it reminded me that I once fell in love with a man bc he paid my toll. We had been dating but I wasn’t sure where things were heading. For whatever reason we were in two cars and I was following him on our way to somewhere. He stopped- paid the toll gate and moved forward like nothing happened and just kept going. I tried to hand the lady in the booth my 2 bucks or whatever and she just grinned and said- “he paid for it.” It occurred to me that he had a toll pass and he made the stop just so he could pay the toll for me. It was the sweetest most endearing thing.

frick having it all. I was partner in my law firm then and have to manage my whole household and life on my own. It’s EXHAUSTING. Women who don’t think they need a man are idiots. A dude thought enough to stop and pay a couple of dollars just bc he is a gentleman.

For all single Baws - take some advice -Call the girl and ask her out like a grown man. Don’t text. Pay for her dinner. Make her feel like someone is looking out for her. All women need it on a primal level. The patriarchy works just fine.
