I honestly never realized how little our fanbase understood about recruiting and how many casuals flood to this board to troll. We have a terrible fanbase.

It’s just a bunch of negative bitches. If we signed McKinley they say oh great, he doesn’t have a dl coach. We didn’t sign him (yet) so they can bitch that we missed him. We didn’t sign Mack so they can bitch about that. If we signed him they say oh great, can’t wait to watch him underperform.
I’m thinking every fanbase has fans who only like past teams. Every current and future will be shite. Past teams were the best.

They have this delusion that we’ve constantly recruited top 3 or better classes every year for the last 30 years. It’s insane how disconnected from reality they are. Our 5 year recruiting for the last 30 years has been a 1-3 class, a couple 4-8 classes, and a 9-12 ranked class. We are recruiting under BK EXACTLY at the same level we have under the last 3 coaches. The only coach that somewhat bumped those numbers up for us was Les Miles but that doofus stacked the shite out of highly ranked skill players like WR then shite the bed in linemen. To top it off, fricker didn’t even know how to properly utilize his highly ranked receivers.
