My wife and I let them go through their entire script. They’re always so personable and friendly leading up to their pitch about extended warranties and how good of deal they’re giving us.

It’s always a pleasure to say ‘no thanks’ without any hesitation. They seem so defeated. Who buys that crap?!?

You buy a car without getting an extended warranty? You must love the service department advisor ( who btw is also working on commission)

oh the last one went exactly like this. Dude was like, you are an LSU fan? I went to auburn and we were talking and cutting up, until i told him I didn't want an extended warranty.

The thing with these warranties is you don't have to get them rt away and you can go online to a much larger dealership and get them for cheaper. He quoted me like 1300 when I knew I could get for under 900 from a dealer in a much larger city. He basically called me a liar and then told me to email him when I find one for cheaper because no one does it cheaper.

I did find it for cheaper and no I didnt email him because I am not petty like that.
