Would you consider induction instead of gas?

Gas was my religion until I gave honest thoughts to the pros and cons.

The only pro for gas was fire looks cool.

But the point of cooking is temperature control and nothing beats induction. Induction doesn’t require an always on pilot light. Things heat up quicker and cool down quicker. It’s easier to clean because the magnets don’t scald like fire does.

To clean, I wipe a moist rag across the surface, dry, then use a microfiber cloth to return that good as new shine to the surface. I treat that thing like it’s an exotic sports car.

With fire looking cool as being the only pro, I found a cooktop with blue ground effects that illuminates the bottom of my cookware.

Yes I did “have to” buy new cookware. I absolutely loved this nice problem to have.

I found a new religion and it’s called induction cooking.
