I don’t think this CO ruling is intended solely for Trump

This ruling - Excluding a candidate who threatens their power - is another shot across the bow at any other non-establishment millionaire who decides he wants to run for POTUS.
Think about what Trump has gone through: IRS investigations, smear leaks, impeachments, nonsensical accusations of an insurrection.
Candidates have to be weighing heavily the cost such a presidential run would have on their finances/reputation/mental health. Let alone drag their families through that mess.
They’re just laying the groundwork. “Don’t even try and join our gravy train.”

The entire saga of the treatment of Donald Trump is a warning to the next outsider that they better think twice about challenging the Washington machine.
It's never been solely about Trump.

This is the end times for the professional managerial elite. A ruling class this sick cannot stand. They are lashing out blindly at this point. They would rather burn it all to the ground rather than relinquish power. They're on their way to getting their wish.

And the counter to that is going to end up being “Our ancestors shot at one set of tyrants about 250 years ago.”

They are burning it all down to rebuild it in a way that solidifies their power.
Doesn’t always work out the way they think it will.

This is correct and easily identified by anyone with common sense. I'm sick and tired of Trump, but to ignore these actions and cheer them on is dangerous.
