We will need to the the ball better and more often with Nuss. Daniels was so dangerous on 3rd and long. He could turn a ten yd sack into a 30 yd run. If they rushed too many , and he escaped, he would punish the defense.

No knock at all on Nuss, but it’s asking a lot of any qb anywhere to replace a heisman winner. Keeping Nuss out of 3rd and long will be critical. Play action on first down is the best down to pass, but play action depends on the threat of a real running game.

It will be the same offense, but LSU will have to rush the ball better than last year. The development of our running backs will be critical.
