I'm pretty sure Don Bergeron keeps it in the prepared foods in his market. I haven't had it, but I would think it would be good and better than Richards.
Hebert's Specialty Meats in Geismer has it all the time. We pick it up for Mom sometimes in the hot weather months when her supply gets low.
You could order it from a restaurant as someone else suggested.

Robert Market in Kenilworth sells a bunch of Hebert's products in the back. Much more convenient. I haven't tried their gumbo, but based on their stuffed chickens and sausages I've had, I'd bet the gumbo is better than Richard's.
