Newman is not they did not want him to sue.
Because of the violations Lhsaa rules and enforcement history is consistent in regards to sanctioning coaches that were involved w violations.
No other school has sued nor any other coach over this type of sanction.

Who was the assistant that went to the Lhsaa. He was to take the fall for Randy but decided not and told everything about what was going on. Also was told several parents and boosters were not happy with the coaching. If you are going to cheat you better win big time games, by big numbers. It was also mentioned that kids who were brought in and decided to leave were found inelgible at their old schools, so the kids started talking. What about their due process, Randy?

Question to lawyers or anyone with experience with lhsaa. What does Newman gain by backing Randy? Everything points to horrible egregious actions. Why not cut their loses, fire him, and protect their own reputation? If everything is true and now comes out, don’t AD and principal open themselves up to being fired if they’re supporting him?
