Because LSU/NIL backers pay him a nice salary to play. He’s not an amateur. All of these players are now pros and should act, and be treated, accordingly.

Will he still be paid NIL money? Will he get the bowl swag? Travel and enjoy bowl parties?

Is it your career on the line?

He played 2 full seasons, gave us our first home win against Bama in over a decade, carried a pathetic defense to 9 wins, and won the 3rd ever Heisman in LSU history with one of the greatest offensive performances ever.

Jayden has more than earned anything he’s received and he gave a ton back to LSU as well. We now have TWO transfer QB Heisman winners in 5 years. Ya think others aren’t going to notice this and see if they can be next?

He’s not on the hook for anything at this point, and his parting gift is a chance for our new QB1 to see action against a P5 team. Jayden deserves nothing but respect and support from the LSU community.
