In home blood pressure machines aren’t accurate at all. The doctors office with mercury and aneroid cuffs are used to manually take blood pressure with a stethoscope are the most accurate.
Home machines can be off by a lot.

This statement is not accurate at all. I've taken mine to my twice a year wellness exam and they are always really close.

This is true and that's why you bring it with you when you go have your blood pressure checked by the nurse. She/he doesn't mind.
