I will use a 4 iron on a par 3 from time to time but that’s it.
I can easily cut 10-15 yards off the 7 wood if I need to.
You should give it a shot. I put the same shaft as I have in my 3 wood…just a little shorter.

It was weird yesterday, I usually hit a 7 from this par 3 180. Hit a half 5 wood and almost holed it.
