Conservatives are to blame for this. When you force religion at schools, be prepared for other religions besides your own.

"We want prayer in school"

Then be prepared for satanic, islamic, hindu, flying spaghetti monster, etc., prayers as well as Christian.

1. Religion was never "forced," and has actually been "forced out," while other religions have been forced in. It was just the basis of a good society.

2. Regardless of you are religious are not - a government - and people or culture - who want a proper functioning society should be interested in a foundation to that society that benefits everyone, focuses on some level of virtue, and has the public good at heart...

3. You probably think the answer to the above is unchecked Freedom, but it isn't. Sorry.

4. In either case, people should make wise decisions in all cases as well. Again, unchecked freedom is never a wise decision. It's ok to say no. It's ok to put limitations in certain places.

5. And the very basis of this - the Satanic Temple is not a religion. It defines itself as a religion, but it isn't even close to that - and everyone knows that. They even admit that.

6. If "christianity in school," represents "State sponsored religion," than the Satanic Temple in the public building represents "state supported mocking of a religion."

7. And you know they just want to mess with Christmas - just to mess with Christmas. It's a giant troll job and should be shut down. Simple.

That's the whole point.

The COS/TST trolling is almost exclusive to responses to other religions (typically Christian) acts in public-government areas.

I haven't read the details of this story but I'd bet $5 this is in response to a mirror grouping/behavior of Christians.
