I don’t understand how the courts come to these decisions? Schools voluntarily join the NCAA and it governs the rules for sports.
At this point the ncaa needs to copy the NFL and make players sign a contract when they get a scholarship that commits them to a certain number of years at that school before transfer eligibility and outlines all NIL deals and rules that can lead to fines if broken. Players can negotiate the terms before signing day, make the contract terms part of recruitment. Otherwise players are about to go free reign and ruin the sport something has to be done to stop the madness
