Do you think these companies are going to just continue investing in production equipment, labor, etc., if it's not profitable? It's a lot of work to get oil out of the earth and into consumables. They're not going to continue production for fun.

The industry will still exist but it will be tiny…though I don’t think there is any imminent transition, pledge or no pledge.
