We have 5 Samsung TVs of all generations and sizes and haven't had a lick of trouble with a single one.

Same. My main living room TV has been Samsung since the demise of Panasonic plasmas (RIP) and I see no reason to change. I go china with the rest of the house and honestly have never had a problem other than them being more susceptible to lighting damage.

Then again, paying $350 for a 65" Sceptre LED shipped to my door and then hanging it unprotected in a coastal environment for the last 3 years under the house and it still working fine other than losing one of 3 HDMI input ports to rust is probably a Win. Just Windex the salt spray off the screen and that bitch looks the same as when new.

I bought a 55" TCL for $300 on Amazon a couple years ago for my patio and this thing has been rained on probably 10 times and still fires right up. Unreal

(TCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Google TV – 55S446, 2022 Model)

ETA:

Last April - so year and a half. It's on a stand and I can just carry it inside (super light) but I always have too many cocktails on Fall Saturdays and just leave it outside overnight
