Are they not different dimensions? Really thinking more about will it fit in the current set up size wise, but that's good to hear otherwise.
While yes, PCPP unfortunately won't help you with that. They've been working on adding it, but "fit" isn't something PCPP is great at. With that said, it's easy to just look up.
Based on your previous post, pretty sure you have this case: LINK /
Assuming so, this is what it lists for GPU compatibility:
GPU max length
315 mm with front fan mounted
So just look at the dimension specs of any card before you buy it. Easy peasy.

As for the above rec...worth a look?
Absolutely. I would save a bit of money and get the 6800xt over the 7800xt, but with that quibble aside, I agree with viv1d that the 6800xt/7800xt and 4070 are likely the best options within your price range.

Ok...first off, thanks everyone that's added to this. I really appreciate your help!
Secondly, let me just run this all back to make sure I understand the recs:
- It's worthwhile to replace the current NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with an ASUS 4070 with the understanding that he'll really need to replace the CPU sooner rather than later.
So, is this the right guy?
