I'm not crazy about unions but when you look at the salaries of say the CEOs of Ochsner...its disgusting.
You've fallen for the bullshite woke nonsense that has become so popular these days.
Executive compensation accounts for a whopping .8% of Oschner's total expenses. If the total salaries for the 20 highest paid employees—including the president/CEO—were diverted to the employees who deliver the day to day services, none of them would even notice the difference in their paychecks it would be such a small difference.
This whole, "Look at what the CEO makes while all of these employees are making $15 an hour" outrage is a complete red herring. It sounds good but means nothing. The CEO salary has nothing to do with lower employees wages.
If you can find it, one of the videos that made Ben Shapiro famous was him debating a couple of pointy headed professors several years ago about the proposed $15 minimum wage. He cited the CEO of Wal-Mart's salary, then divided that number by the number of employees to demonstrate that if his entire salary was diverted back to and split among all other Wal-Mart employees, each person would get an extra $10.
The professors had no reply to that.

Yep.
CEO pay split amongst employees is like pennies an hour or less.
Friend of mine who lives in Oklahoma runs a health care system used to run the local system. His base pay was 200k-300k a year, and the rest of his compensation was performance based he would get at the end of the year, in one lump sum.
