why is it Nurse's unionizing for higher wages cause premiums to go up? Hospitals are massive grifts for their services. The cost of a hospital stay in non union hospitals aren't any cheaper than unionized hospitals. Look just own the fact that conservatives hate unions because unions support DEMS. if they supported the GOP i doubt the hate would be the same. Good for these nurses. Somehow in this country we demonize unions but somehow trust corporations to pay and treat people fairly.
