Just let the birds rest. This is why nothing sticks around anymore. You going "check it out" will have ZERO positive effect on your hunt in the morning but the potential for a huge negative effect by chasing of birds that have been resting comfortably. Aside from the other morons constantly running around "checking things out".

Uhhhhhh I have a camp. Do you allow me to sleep there tonight?
We go look with binoculars and hunt with outboards and pirogues to see where they are and make a game plan, not jumping ducks up. It’s a Popular tactic called scouting. If there’s no ducks, we will likely hunt des allemands. I hope this is all ok with you.
