All these delivery places call it a TIP, but it’s really a BID. If they would just be upfront with how they pay drivers, then there wouldn’t be confusion involved. If you use delivery services then I suggest bidding higher for your food or stuff to get there quicker.
I used to deliver on the side just to have the experience. It was fun stuff and I got to see lots of hoods I wouldn’t go to normally. You aren’t giving a tip, you’re bidding on their service. If it’s too low then you won’t get it.
